Kinesiology vs Yuen Mastery

Many people mistakenly assume that any muscle testing procedure they see involving arms, interlocked fingers etc, is a form of Kinesiology. This is not true. Kinesiology refers to the effects of muscular response to movement.

In Kinesiology the correction must be done physically by massaging the lymphatic points, making contact with the spinal column or by corrective body movements.

When we use the Yuen Mastery System method for approaching total fitness of mind body spirit, we already know that muscles within the body may be weakened or strengthened as a response to thoughts, words or body traumas.

Conversely, positive or pleasant thoughts can strengthen the body and help facilitate fitness on all levels.  Energetic corrections properly made may then be confirmed by a strong response in the arm test, as opposed to the initial weak response.

With the arm muscle test, for example, a thought that might have a negative mental effect on a person (like traffic congestion or headache) causes physical weakening of the person’s arm.  What is being manifested, in fact, is a weakening of the person’s entire energy system. When the proper correction is applied, the arm muscle can be retested for strength.

A muscle test should be used for demonstration purposes only.

It is best used to show your client or the audience that there is a weakness in someone’s energy field.  In the novice stages of energy work, practitioners of the energetic method may lean on muscle testing to get information, whereas in the advanced or mastery level of energetic work, no muscle testing is necessary.

Feeling the energy remaining strong or going weak is the true test.

Whenever someone does not cooperate in the muscle test, correct the person for cooperation or use your own finger/thumb test.  Better yet, mentally test without physical contact.

Remember, muscle testing is not a test of will, physical resistance, or determination not to lower your arm.  Give instructions to the person with whom you are working.  The purpose of the muscle test is to measure the change in energy.  It is not physical resistance at any cost.  When a muscle test is applied properly, the smallest woman can successfully uncover the energetic weaknesses of the biggest and strongest Sumo Wrestler.

In the New Yuen Mastery System which tests for weaknesses and strengthens them correctly, a muscle test in not required.  It is used only as an illustration of a change in energy and is never the sole method for accessing information.
